Obsidian is molten lava that has cooled so quickly it didn’t have the time to crystallize.   This is a stone with no limitations which lets it work fast and with great power.  Obsidian is a stone known to be a truth enhancer, flaw exposer and helps release blockages.  It can provide deep soul healing and can bring up past trauma that has come with us into the future.  Obsidian is a very protective stone which forms a protective shield around the holder/wearer against negative energies.  Placing Obsidian under your pillow or bed can draw out stress and tension giving you a calming effect.  Black Obsidian repels negativity and releases unloving thoughts you may have.  It helps in the release of old love and is a stone that provides support during times of change.
